The ISO Technical Committee on Common Names for Pesticides has provisionally approved 3 new active ingredients common names in this month, according to the Compendium of Pesticide Common Names (CPCN). They are triflumezopyrim, picarbutrazox, napropamide-M.
Triflumezopyrim is a novel insecticide from Du Pont, being developed under the code DPX-RAB55.
Nippon-Soda has received provisional ISO approval for carbamate fungicide being developed under the code NF-171.
United Phosphorus Limited(UPL) has gained the provisional ISO approval for the (R)-isomer of the amide herbicide napropamide.
