CAC Group announces another price increase for chlorothalonil products

On June 13, 2025, Chinese agrochemical manufacturer CAC Group issued another price adjustment notice for chlorothalonil products. The company cited the continuous rise in the prices of core raw materials for chlorothalonil and other multiple factors, which have significantly increased production costs and created substantial pressure on production operations. To maintain stable product supply and service quality, the company has decided to increase the prices of chlorothalonil technical material and its full range of formulated products starting from June 12, 2025. The technical material price will be adjusted to CNY 30,000 per ton, with the formulated products adjusted accordingly based on the latest technical material price.

CAC Group stated that the price adjustment aims to ensure the sustainability of long-term cooperation. The company will continue to strictly control the production process to ensure product quality and provide excellent customer service.

Records indicate that this is the third time CAC Group has adjusted the prices of chlorothalonil-related products:

In September 2024, CAC Shanghai International Trading (CAC Shanghai) announced a price increase for chlorothalonil, effective from September 18, 2024. The technical material and formulated products were to be increased by 5%–10% based on the existing prices.

In December 2024, CAC Shanghai issued another price adjustment notice for chlorothalonil products, effective from December 2, 2024. The prices of chlorothalonil technical material and formulations were increased by 10%–20% based on the existing prices.
