Guang’an Lier Chemical plans to launch new pesticidal active ingredient project of L-glufosinate and chlorantraniliprole

Guang’an Lier Chemical Co., Ltd is planning an investment of RMB 1.15 billion yuan to launch a new pesticidal active ingredient project with an annual output of 43,000 tons in Xinqiao Industrial Park, Guang’an Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan Province. Some time ago, the first-time environmental impact assessment of the project has been made public.

The project includes newbuild of capacity of 30,000 tons of L-glufosinate (enzymic method), 2,000 tons of chlorantraniliprole, 1,000 tons of pinoxaden, 5,000 tons of triclopyr, 2,000 tons of flumioxazin and 3,000 tons of clopyralid. Meanwhile, the project involves construction of utilities and environmental facilities, as well as reclamation of the byproduct salt generated in the course of production to achieve resource recycling and reutilization. 

Guang’an Lier Chemical Co., Ltd is a subsidiary of Lier Chemical Co., Ltd, being founded on April 1, 2014, located in Xinqiao Industrial Park, Guang’an Economic and Technological Development Zone, Sichuan Province. The company’s main businesses include research and development, production, sales and export of pesticides and chemical products, as well as technology transfer and technical testing of pesticides and chemical products.

The launch of this project is expected to further enhance the pesticide technical production capacity of Guang’an Lier Chemical, which will continue to promote the sustainable development of the company.
