Spraying quality management is awarded at Rural Show 2023

The startup team Folhas D´Água was one of the three awarded at the Hackathon of the Show Rural Coopavel 2023 fair, which had special coverage by AgroPages.

Third place in the event's challenge, startup Folhas D´Água presented a platform for managing the quality of pesticide application.

The technology marathon was one of the attractions of the Rural Digital Show – one of the three largest technology fairs for the countryside in the world.

The PrismaTech team took first place in the hackathon, presenting a solution to the honey production management challenge.

In second place was AgroFAG, which developed a project to measure the volume of milk in trucks, while there was also an ″honorable mention″ for the Byte Busters team.

The problems presented, all related to the daily life of agribusiness, were solved by 15 teams involving 75 subscribers.

There were more than 40 hours of activities monitored by the Sebrae (Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service) team.

Sebrae participated in defining challenges, identifying anchor companies to selecting mentors and moderating.

″The hackathon is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs, startups, and technology and innovation professionals to collaborate for the development of the rural sector. That is why, since the first edition, we have actively participated in the marathon,″ stated the manager of the West Regional of Sebrae/PR, Augusto Stein.

In addition to the cash prize, the three teams that won the podium will be entitled to follow up with Sebrae/PR consultants through training programs and access to content that help format startups and present solutions for obtaining investments.

SMART AGRO

The Rural Show was also the stage for the announcement of the launch of Smart Agro Brazil, a partnership between the Brasil Soberano Group, Coopavel, Itaipu Technological Park, and the Foundation for Scientific and Technological Development (Fundetec).

These four companies – references in their areas – joined forces to develop a project that could transform Brazilian agribusiness.

″With the combination of countless pieces of information, the rural producer will have at hand a wealth of material for analysis and more assertive decision-making,″ said Andrei Deuschle, from Brasil Soberano.

According to him, Smart Agro Brasil will accelerate the digital transformation of agriculture through data hyper convergence, presenting a clear, strategic, and directed vision for the improvement of the entire agribusiness chain.

Smart Agro Brasil will incorporate multiple data platforms from an agribusiness intelligence center that becomes intelligence through a broad artificial intelligence system.

President of Coopavel, Dilvo Grolli, considers Smart Agro as an instrument for prospects and good business. Smart Agro Brasil's main services will be integrated open data platforms and shared data; exponentialization of field connectivity; qualification of qualified labor; a consultancy specializing in generating value in the agro chain and creation of the ″Smart Agro Brasil Seal of Excellence″, the first national excellence in the sector, which will be housed at Fundetec.
