Fungisei® next generation biological fungicide

Fungisei® is an biofungicide-bactericide presente in a liquid format and forms part of a new generation of highly eco-friendly products that optimize effectiveness with low concentrations of their active agent. Fungisei® is a broad-spectrum biofungicide for the control of diseases such as powdery mildew, botrytis and alternaria on berries, grapevines, vegetable crops, tomatoes and chili peppers, among other crops.

The fungicidal action of Fungisei® is based on the capacity of the selected Bacillus subtilis strain to produce lipopeptide antibiotics (iturin, surfactin and fengycin) which prevent pathogenic spores on plants from germinating by altering the growth of the spore germ tube, inhibiting the adhesion of plant pathogens to leaves.
