Presently the structure of sown areas in the country has stabilized on positions of domination the cereals and sunflowers.

Under Moldavian statistics just wheat occupies 300-350 thousand hectares, that is 20-25% from all area of plough-land. For the receipt of high and stable harvests of grain, it is necessary to use the effective protection this culture against harmful organisms during all period of vegetation, including from weeds. As refer other popular agricultural cultures the situation is the same.

It is obviously that with purpose of quality protection the agro cultures from weeds, insects, different illnesses etc, stimulation the healthy growth and cultivation the plants, the high necessity is in application the different types of plant protection.

Presently, the situation at Moldavian agrarian sector is such that the country depends much on import mainly ready pesticide forms due to inability the country’s resources to support the domestic production. Taking into consideration the Moldova’s economical development, the same situation will be kept still for a long time.
