XiteBio® PeasRhizo uses Advanced Growth Promoting Technology (AGPTTM) to revolutionize pea & lentil production. This technology developed exclusively in XiteBio’s IRD (Innovation, Research & Development) Centre works in three ways: i) introducing optimum numbers of nitrogen fixing Rhizobium into the soil, ii) invigorating the natural soil microflora, including the native rhizobia, and iii) creating synergy between them. XiteBio® PeasRhizo, powered by AGPTTM, promotes growth & yield, and in field trials increased average pea yield by 2.2 bu/ac (17%).
Improved crop vigour and yield increases have been consistently reported by the farmers, University scientists, and private researchers who have tried and tested XiteBio® PeasRhizo across the pulse growing regions in the US and Canada. “This marks the accomplishment of developing XiteBio® PeasRhizo for the Canadian market, and also highlights the new beginning of providing this exceptional technology to Canadian pulse growers”, says Dr. Manas Banerjee, President and CEO of XiteBio Technologies. “Healthier plants and better yields are the results of the increased nodulation, plant vigour and stronger root systems that PeasRhizo provides”, adds Dr. Banerjee.
“XiteBio is focussed solely on innovative products and biological markets”, says Garry Van Den Bussche, Director, Sales & Marketing at XiteBio. He further states, “this innovative targeted approach with a wealth of biological experience is exactly what is needed to grow the value to the market place. PeasRhizo for pea & lentil is the newest inoculant product registered for the Canadian farmers.”
XiteBio® PeasRhizo is a naturally-occurring premium liquid pea & lentil inoculant featuring AGPTTM. It enhances nodulation and maximizes pea & lentil yield. XiteBio® PeasRhizo has been available in the US since 2011. XiteBio® PeasRhizo for pea & lentil joins XiteBio® SoyRhizo® for soybean as the outstanding options for Canadian producers from XiteBio Technologies and its Canadian distributors.
