AgroPages-ECHA consults on CLH for pesticide fenpyroximate-Agricultural news

ECHA is seeking comments on new proposals for harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) for pesticide fenpyroximate used as an acaricide in agriculture, horticulture and viticulture. The public consultations will be open for 45 days and will end on 14 June 2013.

The CLH proposal for the pesticide fenpyroximate was submitted by the German competent authority. This substance also does not have a harmonised classification, and the proposal includes both health and environmental hazards.

The proposed harmonized classification and labeling for fenpyroximate are acute toxicity;eye irritation;skin sensitization;hazardous to the aquatic environment; M-factors for hazards to the aquatic environment.
