Ceradis launches FytoFert® in Ecuador

Ceradis is pleased to announce the introduction of FytoFert® in Ecuador. FytoFert® is a unique line of fertilizers that increase crop yields and quality. Yields are increased by providing the plants with essential micronutrients needed for growth. Quality is enhanced by activating the plants defense system against fungi, oomycetes and bacteria.
FytoFert® has been developed over the past 10 years by Ceradis in the Netherlands and Colombia, in collaboration with researchers in Wageningen University (WUR), the Netherlands. “Together with our field research in Colombia, we have worked hard to develop a more environmentally friendly way to higher yields.” said Wim van der Krieken, CEO of Ceradis B.V. “FytoFert® provides essential nutrient elements such as Potassium, Phosphor and Zinc to crops and at the same time stimulates the natural plant defense against a large number of pathogenic fungal and oomycetal diseases”.
“The FytoFert® product line, composed of FytoFert® PK, FytoFert® PK ZinCo, FytoFert® PhosCo and FytoFert® Cobre, will offer our customers a range of alternatives in order to adapt to different conditions. FytoFert® can target multiple diseases like phytophthora, peronospora, alternaria and rust in multiple crops: potato, flowers, rice, tomato, fruits and many others” said Sebastian Sanchez Gerritsen, Sales Manager LATAM. Due to the mineral and organic nature of FytoFert®, the products are safe for user and environment and do not have residue restrictions, pre-harvest or re-entry limitations.
The FytoFert® product line will be distributed in Ecuador exclusively by PRONACA. PRONACA’s agricultural input distribution arm INDIA, founded in 1957 and the company’s precursor, is very well known for distributing agricultural solutions via efficient channels and a highly trained staff.
