AgroPages-UK Withdraws Chemsource's Chikita Permit-Agricultural news

The UK Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD) has announced to withdraw Chemsource’s parallel permit for the use of the herbicide Chikita (flazasulfuron) on 8th March 2013,which is immediate effect. The reason of withdrawal for certain conditions of the permit have not been met, the product is not considered to be identical to the UK reference product Chikara Weed Control as required by the parallel permit issued on 4 May 2010.

The CRD has commanded that any remaining stocks of this product should not be used by any persons but should be returned, together with any unused product, to the Permit holder for Chikita in the UK Chemsource. For the pending return of the product to Chemsource, you may continue to store this product until 30th April 2013.
