AgroPages-Redsun gets China Top Brand reward-Agricultural news

Chinese agrochemical company Redsun (Nanjing) has been awarded a sum of Yuan 2 million ($289,000) by the Chinese government in recognition of its high-quality brands, at an innovation in enterprise conference in Nanjing, Jiangsu province. Two of the company’s products that acquired “China Top Brand” status in 2007 were singled out for praise by the Nanjing city government: genetically modified insect-resistant Nankang Bt cotton seeds; and the herbicide, Red Sun brand paraquat. Redsun, one of China’s largest agrochemical companies, holds 500 product registrations and exports to around 100 countries globally.
