BASF increases prices for acetylene-based specialty intermediates and carbonates

The products are as follows:
1. acetylene alcohols, such as propargyl alcohol, as well as other products within this product range;
2. vinyl monomers, for example vinyl caprolactam; triethylene glycol divinyl ether as well as other product
ithin this product range;
3. carbonates, including Propylene carbonate S, Ethylene carbonate S and carbonate mixtures.
The named specialties are primarily used as intermediates for pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Further applications are cosmetics, coatings, printing inks, polymers and others.
