Jul. 4, 2012
The safety fruit chain production project will be deployed with Bayer’s high-quality seed, advanced crop protection solution and training program. Haisheng Group will supervise the use of crop protection-oriented products, and regulate the processing and purchase procedure. Both sides expect that with the common effort fresh and safe fruit will be supplied to supermarket, hence to really achieve a whole-course service from field to the market.
Food chain project integrates all industry players – farmer, food processor, wholesaler, retailer, importer and exporter, helping farmers to increase their capacity in both emerging and mature markets while quality is improved. Meanwhile assistance is offered to farmers in locating product outlet and raise of their earnings.
Bayer CropScience has developed some 240 food chain partnership projects across some 30 countries covering 40 fruit and vegetable varieties.
"It is our great pleasure to cooperate with Haisheng Group in food chain partnership project,” “China’s 12th-Five-Year Plan emphasizes the issues of agricultural modernization, promotion to advanced technical transfer and application, as well as the ‘initiative to support countryside, agriculture and farmer’, this is exactly what we are doing.” said He Yuanbo, the Great China Chief Executive of Bayer CropScience.
