Nissan Chemical’s agrochem sales up 7% in H1

Nissan Chemical’s agrochemical sales increased by 3.8% to ¥12,464 million in the first-half of fiscal year 2012 ended September 30th 2011. Operating income of company’s agrochemical business up by 8.9% to ¥818 million compared with the same period of last year. Nissan Chemical expects to raise their agrochemical business’ ratio of oversea sales accounting for 25% of total sales in fiscal 2015 by expanding its partnerships with multinationals, local makers and trading companies worldwide and seeking registrations for their products in more countries.(AgroNews 2011-06-07)
