Nichino America announces new general manager of marketing

Shawn Boone has joined Nichino America, Inc., manufacturer and seller of several proprietary crop protection products, as general manager of marketing, effective October 1, 2011. Boone has long-time experience in sales, sales and product management, and marketing management. He most recently worked as a Marketing Manager, and subsequently, Director of Regional Sales for Case IH. He is a graduate of Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia and holds a MBA from Stetson School of Business in Atlanta, Georgia.
"We welcome Shawn to Nichino,” said company president, Jeff Johnson. “His diversified management experience in both sales and marketing will be an asset in implementing the company’s marketing strategy.” The company prides itself on its excellence in positioning products and markets to meet customer needs. “Shawn will be the cohesive force in ensuring we market our brands with razor-sharp focus. This is very important to the success of our company, especially as we continue to expand our product portfolio,” says Johnson.
