FMC names new business solutions manager

FMC Corporation announces the promotion of David Wheeler to Business Solutions Manager. As a multi-faceted position, Wheeler will be part of the business services team working closely with the sales, marketing and account management groups. He has worked with FMC as a retail marketing manager since 2006.

"David brings a deep reservoir of fertilizer, retail and distribution knowledge to this position," FMC Business Services Manager Rick Kesler said. "Driving this segment of the business to its full potential will be a team effort with David in the lead. There are many exciting developments in the corn insecticide segment and I know that David is passionate about helping drive this business."

Previous work experience includes more than five years managing sales and promotions of FMC agricultural products in Kentucky and Northwest Tennessee. In this position, Wheeler was responsible for internal and external business planning, presale promotions and customer service. He has served as a branch manager and proprietary products manager for Helena Chemical Company and as a technical sales lead for Zeneca Ag Products. Wheeler also worked for Farm Credit Services of Mid-America and Miles Farm Supply in Owensboro, Ky. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics and business from the University of Tennessee.

Wheeler is located in Bowling Green, Ky., and will transition from his current FMC sales position over the next several weeks.
