New global generic agchem association AGRO-CARE

A global generic pesticide industry association has been formed in Brussels, Belgium. AGRO-CARE Association is composed of the European Crop Care Association (ECCA), the Latin American generic pesticide industry association, the ALINA, and the Pesticide Manufacturers and Formulators Association of India (PMFAI), according to the Brazilian generic pesticide industry association, the Aenda. The Association has appointed Pedro Brito Correia as its president. Mr Correia is a Portuguese representative of the ECCA. The vice-president is Roman Macaya, of the ALINA, and the treasurer is Samir Dave of the PMFAI. David Van Hoogstratten, secretary of the ECCA, is delegate general.
