Valent’s NipsIt SUITE Sugar Beets System now available to sugar beet growers

Valent U.S.A. Corporation announced that NipsIt™ SUITE sugar beets System is now available to sugar beet growers.
NipsIt SUITE sugar beets combines three super-systemic active ingredients into a single offer: leading-edge insect management tool NipsIt INSIDE® Insecticide (clothianidin) and two powerful fungicides—the newly registered METLOCK™ Fungicide (metconazole) and metalaxyl, the industry standard against Pythium. The three come together to bring unsurpassed plant protection against yield-robbing insects such as sugar beet root maggot, springtail and wireworm, and diseases such as Rhizoctonia, Fusarium and Pythium.
Through its super-systemic ingredients, NipsIt SUITE sugar beets provides growers both contact and systemic protection when it matters most.

Stroh said the NipsIt INSIDE in NipsIt SUITE sugar beets has been shown to remain longer in the seed and root zone—important to a tuber crop that is often susceptible to the heavy pressure of those early-season, soil-borne pests. Additionally, the METLOCK in NipsIt SUITE sugar beets has been shown to be the best fungicide available to protect against seedling Rhizoctonia and Fusarium.
Additionally, the polymer-based Lock Tight™ technology used in NipsIt SUITE sugar beets brings the grower a unique and valuable formulation that locks the protection onto the seed.
