Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers recently held a public open house attended by more than 1,000 guests officially opening the company’s new and largest manufacturing facility, which is located in Ashley, Mich.

The added production and distribution capabilities of this new facility were necessary for the company to continue its aggressive growth of the past decade, explained Lonny Smith, senior marketing manager of the Michigan-based company. Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers currently does business throughout North America, manufacturing and distributing roughly 80,000 gallons of high efficiency crop nutrients daily, he said.

The new Ashley facility is a model of efficiency and environmental responsibility, Smith added. State Department of Agriculture Director Keith Creagh has extensive experience with pesticide programs and environmental concerns and was quoted by Agro-Culture as saying, “(The company) has exceeded every rule and standard when it comes to the environment.”

The plant is even capable of collecting rain water, filtering it and using it in the manufacturing process relieving tens of thousands of gallons demand on the community water system. According to Nick Bancroft, vice president of corporate development, the safety and well-being of the local community is a major corporate priority and concern when developing new facilities. The company prides itself on minimal emissions, highly efficient manufacturing processes and thoroughly researched application recommendations.
