Marrone Bio Innovations strengthens zequanox commercial operations

Marrone Bio Innovations (MBI) continues to strengthen and expand commercial operations with the addition of Dennis Bitter as Zequanox Commercial Manager.

Dennis joins MBI with extensive experience in water and waste water markets. He will oversee North American sales of Zequanox, an effective new natural product for the control of invasive zebra and quagga mussels in freshwater lakes and streams.

"Zequanox (Pseudomonas fluorescens) is a revolutionary product for controlling invasive mussels,” states Pam Marrone, Founder and CEO of MBI. “As North American Commercial Manager, Dennis’ technical background and sales management experience will be invaluable for launching this new technology.”

Prior to joining MBI, Dennis was North American Sales Manager at Severn Trent Water Purifications, and Western Regional Director at Calgon Carbon. Dennis has a degree in chemistry from University of Illinois and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Zequanox is derived from a common microbe found in soil and water bodies, and is the industry’s first selective and environmentally friendly solution for controlling invasive zebra and quagga mussels.
