According to the agricultural machinery manufacturer, the Leeb VL sprayer is “number one in terms of income in the Brazilian market”. Containing five independent sections to ensure maximum adaptation to the ground, the sprayer has a five thousand liter tank and seven agitators.

According to Horsch, the “solutions for soil cultivation, sowing, and protection of plants exposed in its stand seek to optimize processes and offer more practicality to rural producers.”

Director-General of Horsch Rodrigo Duck said that the launch has the capacity to apply the “precise” amount of agrochemicals to protect the plantation.

According to him, Leeb VL is a tool that “increases the efficiency of the crop, regardless of whether it is small, medium or large,” helping to reduce costs with inputs.

Duck points out that it is essential to highlight that poor management of agricultural inputs causes several negative consequences for the business. Among them, are waste, lack of raw material, and the suppression of financial resources in the processes, in addition, of course, to the inaccuracy of obtaining the expected results.

“Faster travel means more productivity. More productivity, in turn, is synonymous with time savings and cost reductions for field workers. And all this without forgetting user safety,” Duck commented.

For Fernando Vieira Vinhal, director of operations at the Starkel concessionaire, “AgroBrasília has always been the main agribusiness fair for [the central region of] Brazil, in the states of Minas Gerais, Goiás, and the Federal District. I am sure that this face-to-face resumption [of the fair], as has been the case with other agro-events, will be a success.”

Duck commented on the advantages of Horsch's participation in AgroBrasília, “The development of the use of technologies in agriculture, which is increasingly digital, is a global trend that has been mapped all over the world, and this movement is not going unnoticed by Horsch, which has sought ever more productive, sustainable solutions, with less material waste, focused on performance and user safety. Sharing them with the public at one of the largest agribusiness fairs in Brazil is undoubtedly an excellent opportunity.”

In 2020, AgroBrasília was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the event was held virtually, registering a volume of BRL590 million in deals.
