Certis introduces Bug-N-Sluggo? in USA

For the ultimate in convenience, Certis USA introduces Bug-N-Sluggo®, a combination insect, slug and snail bait. The double action bait contains two premium active ingredients—iron phosphate and spinosad—that are proven control measures for slugs, snails, earwigs, cutworms, sowbugs and pillbugs. Bug-N-Sluggo is NOP approved (OMRI listing pending), so it can be applied to conventional or organic crops. Formulated in highly compressed pellets (shorts) that are easy-to-use and allow for better, more uniform coverage that provide more “contact” points for greater control, Bug-N-Sluggo may be used on grass grown for seed production, vegetables, citrus and other fruits, tree nuts, and container-grown nursery plants.

Use of Bug-N-Sluggo provides highly effective control of labeled pests even under cool weather conditions and poses little risk to the environment. Iron phosphate is an ingredient that originates in the soil and is an ingredient in fertilizers. Spinosad is derived from a soil dwelling bacterium.
