On 9th June, 2021, Wynca signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Huapont Life Sciences and Beijing Nutrichem. Under the partnership, Nutrichem will be used as a comprehensive platform for establishing strategic a partnership and cooperation covering the areas of product layout, industrial chain expansion, marketing and channel coordination, to promote common business development between all parties. Huapont Life Sciences is prepared to take various measures, including but not limited to assigning its legal equity in Nutrichem to Wynca or agreeing to Wynca’s participation in the equity operation of Nutrichem to enable it to become a major shareholder.


On 3rd September, 2021, Wynca signed a share transfer agreement with Huapont Life Sciences. Under the agreement, Wynca will spend RMB800 million to take over 151 million shares in Huapont Life Sciences at RMB5.30 per share, accounting for 12.31% of total stakes, becoming the second largest shareholder in Nutrichem.


Wynca said the signing of the agreement will help it implement its strategic cooperation with Nutrichem, as well as promote collaborations between the two sides in research, production, marketing and industrial chain management, which will further optimize its product and industrial layout, improve Wynca’s capacity to provide comprehensive plant protection solutions, expand the scale of Wynca’s agrochemical business, enhance Wynca’s core competitiveness and sustainable development of agrochemical business, and further consolidate Wynca’s leading position in the industry. 


This cooperation coincides with the important occasion of the establishment of the Beijing Stock Exchange. Both sides aim to utilize Nutrichem’s platform to create a large agrochemical group with rich product varieties and considerable research, production and marketing capabilities, to cover both domestic and international market as well as to take a certain place in the international agrochemical arena.
