Dhanuka Agritech stock jumps over 5.5% despite fire incident at Udhampur unit

Dhanuka Agritech Limited informed the exchanges Friday that unfortunately, a fire broke out in the company’s unit situated at Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir in the late-night yesterday.
“Our emergency response team and local fire brigade have already reached there and brought the fire under control. There is no casualty or injury reported,” the company said.
The company has appointed an internal investigation team to carry out a detailed investigation to ascertain the cause of this fire.
“We are extending our full co-operation to the local authorities while they investigate this incident. We thank the local administration, neighbouring industries and fire brigade for their timely support,” it added.
Despite the fire incident Dhanuka Agritech Ltd was trading at Rs907.95 per piece up by Rs48.5 or 5.64% from its previous closing of Rs859.45 per piece on the BSE. The company stock hits a day's high of Rs935.65 per piece.
