Nitro Group acquires Gênica

BrazilNitro Group has built reputation by providing high quality specialty chemicals to customers in over 70 countries. They has expanded operations to agribusiness with the acquisition of MCM, one of the largest producers of copper and zinc derivatives for agriculture, and with the incorporation of Fast Agro and its broad portfolio for plant nutrition and physiology developed in over 10 years of work together with rural producers.
Nitro Group announced another important step in this trajectory with the investment in the biotechnology start-up Gênica, specialized in the biofertilizers and biodefensives production, located in Piracicaba (São Paulo). Gênica complements this portfolio of solutions for the agricultural market with high-tech biological agents to prevent, reduce or eradicate pests and diseases in plantations.
Nitro Group will work to combine all this knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit with the competence developed by Nitro over 85 years of history, always bringing reliability and technology to customers.
