China pesticide sales amount to 51.8 billion Yuan in 2010

By categories, the cumulative sales were 45.63 billion Yuan and 6.2 billion for chemical pesticides and biopesticides, up 19.9% and 27.6% respectively. Sales of biopesticide accounted for 12.0% of the total pesticide sales, only a slight growth of 0.7% from last year.
Sales-output ratio in December was 95.8%, down 2.3% from last month. Total Cumulative sales-output ratio from January to December was 96.7%, down 0.33% year on year. The cumulative sales-output ratio for chemical pesticides and biopesticides were 96.8% and 95.9%, the later posted a 2.31% decrease year on year.
