Nortox's Akcelo agrochemicals sales platform saw a considerable increase in business during the COVID-19 pandemic. The restrictions imposed by social isolation have shifted marketing to the digital environment, and both Brazilian rural producers and distributors are adopting to online input purchases.

“The changes imposed by the new coronavirus pandemic are driving other types of commercial transactions. An example in this sense is Akcelo, from Nortox, an electronic relationship platform aimed at resellers who are looking for solutions that provide flexibility, mobility and access to all processes necessary for managing their relationship with the company,” Nortox stated.

Launched in January, the platform was already well-established but registered an even greater increase in use since the pandemic imposed restrictions on face-to-face business. “As Akcelo is an exclusive digital platform in an environment where everything is 100% online and 24-hours a day, people realized that it is the ideal tool, especially during a time such as the one we are experiencing,” Marcelo Percinoto Poliseli (National Manager Nortox Marketing) said.

He added that Akcelo was already successful before the pandemic, because it achieved the objective of optimizing business processes, simplifying systems, and offering exclusive services and products. Through the platform, a registered user can access Nortox's complete portfolio of pesticide multicultures, as well as its entire line of plant nutrition products, such as leaf and exclusive soil granules, as well as application technology solutions and bioactivators, in addition to a line of hybrid corn and sorghum seeds.

Poliseli also pointed out that through Akcelo, the user can carry out commercial transactions, such as purchases and deliveries, as well as access credit, register financial information, and participate in loyalty and incentive programs available 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

“I believe that Akcelo will become more popular during this period, and when the pandemic passes, our customers will continue to do business through the platform, as it is a dynamic and interactive tool with direction, complete support and confidentiality with regards to all processes and data, providing security when working with Nortox, which celebrated its 66th anniversary last week,” Poliseli further added.
