A year since it was acquired by the European Group, Rovensa, Microquimica Tradecorp announced Jorge Luís de Almeida as the company's general director. The Brazilian's main mission will be to conclude the integration process and all operations of the business unit in Brazil.

The company operates in the production and commercialization of inoculants, adjuvants, biofertilizers, foliar fertilizers and plant growth regulators. Last year, Almeida conducted the expansion of the Biological Plant in the city of Monte Mor (SP), where some US$1 million was invested.
Another project led by the Brazilian executive was the beginning of the international launch of Vorax Biofertilizante, the first biofertilizer registered in Brazil. "After the announcement of the acquisition of Microquimica by Tradecorp, we noticed a joint effort by everyone to make our operation more efficient and interesting for the agricultural market," he said.
"We are preparing for new challenges, because in addition to growing in Brazil, we seek to export the technology developed here to the international market, using the capillarity that Tradecorp has built over the years," said the executive. For him, investments in expanding the production unit, brand, research and technology are essential at the moment.
Almeida has a degree in Accounting and Business Administration, and has been with Microquimica since 1981. In mid-1994, he was promoted to director, implementing a process of attracting professionals through technical knowledge, ensuring ethics and the constant search for knowledge through funding studies and research.
For the director general, investing in values, people and research is the key to success. “We will increasingly let our team know about new products and news. Endomarketing actions will be essential for everyone to know where we are and where we want to go,” he concluded.
