AlgaFlex China Summit held in Kunming, China

On the 1st June, the AlgaFlex China Summit was successfully held in Kunming of China, as sponsored by Dyacare UK and cosponsored by Dyacare China, having been participated by Martin Driscoll, the CEO of Dyacare UK, Xiao Linhua, the Sales Director of Dyacare China, Wang Qian, the Marketing Director, together with over 120 delegates of distributors from provinces of Yunnan, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Shandong and Northeast China.
AlgaFlex, which is launched to Chinese market by Dyacare UK Ltd, is a natural weak acid alga biostimulant free of any additives, as being extracted from Arcophyllum nodosum Le Jolis of North Europe. Compared to other alga biostimulants available on the market, AlgaFlex has several distinctive advantages. Its raw material Arcophyllum nodosum Le Jolis is a kind of seaweed growing in North Europe which undergoes cold current of North Atlantic Ocean. It can survive the extremely adverse living environment with its strong growing ability, therefore a higher level of endogenous active substances can be extracted. Moreover, Dyacare UK could retain to maximum the natural substances inside Arcophyllum nodosum Le Jolis via a physical method, making the product to be slightly acid, thus largely preventing sedimentation of Ca and Mg or blocking of spraying devices when being applied together with other fertilizers.

In 2018, AlgaFlex landed in China. Through Dyacare’s great promotion efforts, AlgaFlex has been so far applied in large areas in the provinces of Yunnan, Hainan, Xinjiang, Sichuan and Shandong. At the Summit, AlgaFlex distributors from Yunnan, Hainan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Northwest China, Shandong and Henan shared experiences with each other in the product promotions and applications of AlgaFlex to various crops. As is seen from these experiences, it is clear that AlgaFlex has got multiple effects which include improvement of flowering and fruiting, enhancement of fruit setting, increase of yield, strengthening of root development, improvement of crop’s stress resistance, increase of beneficial microorganism population and activity.

Martin Driscoll, the CEO of Dyacare UK, outlined the advantages of AlgaFlex in global market saying that alga biostimulant quality is decided by its raw material and production process. AlgaFlex is produced using the cold water Arcophyllum nodosum Le Jolis as raw material via a physical method which could retain to maximum the natural active substances inside Arcophyllum nodosum Le Jolis, particularly the secondary metabolite in vivo which is of the function of biological stimulation. Before its entry to Chinese market, AlgaFlex has been well recognized in UK, France, Italy, Spain, Rumania and Australia, having become very popular among local farmers.
