MyFarm, an app created and named after a Goiania-based startup, is aimed at supporting grain farmers when it comes to developing their farm management. Moreover, it generates essential and relevant data that will lead to more accurate decisions and, consequently, significant income growth. The startup belongs to Siagri Group, which has been developing IT solutions in agribusiness for more than 20 years.

The app has been designed to enhance the user's experience and, it can be easily used by farmers themselves. Besides practical and intuitive to use, what makes it unique is its effectiveness at consolidating management processes from crop planning to digital cash book. “We all know that many farmers are not used to IT tech, so they can have problems when using most of the software available in the market. Therefore, due to our long-term expertise in agribusiness - two decades and counting - we understand the challenges involved in this industry. Thus, we were able to develop functions that are capable of generating relevant data for better decision making", says MyFarm CEO Leandro Xavier.

When using MyFarm, the producer does not need to worry about servers, local infrastructure, database built or data privacy concerns. All data are stored in the cloud, and it is possible to use the software either on a browser or on a cell phone. Besides this, it was programmed on a platform that accepts third-party integration, creating a solution for data decentralization.

Among all functionalities available, the software also provides planning and monitoring of all agricultural activities and financial management, such as machinery and inventory, cash flow, producer’s cash book, electronic invoicing issuing, grains trading and harvest results.

As stated by Xavier, the producer who starts to use MyFarm will promptly have a return on investment. “The initial cost is about R$6 to R$8 per hectare per year and varies according to the planted area. We strongly believe that improving management through the adoption of new technologies means higher profitability especially to smallholders, who cannot handle this kind of software whether due to the lack of expertise or budget limitation. We expect to become the benchmark solution for this target group within the next two years.”

“Circuito Agro Gestão” at Agrishow 2019

MyFarm will be launched during Agrishow 2019, which takes place from April 29th to May 3rd in Ribeirão Preto (SP). The fair, regarded as the most important in its segment in Brazil, is known for promoting innovations in technology and machinery for the agriculture industry. Agrishow attracts more than 150 thousand visitors and exhibitors of 800 companies from more than 80 countries.

In this edition of Agrishow, Siagri will exhibit “Circuito Agro Gestão”, a truck with four different software solutions aimed at farmers - MyFarm being one of them - and it will be located at F street, booth 8A1. Siagri was set up as an agribusiness company more than 20 years ago, and it specializes in developing management solutions to this industry. Currently, 850 agricultural groups manage their operations using Siagri software, adding up to 40 thousand users all over the country.
