Park Seed has some exciting new varieties for this spring. Known for their golden seed packets, Park Seed delivers superior seed germination and has been trusted for over 150 years!

One of the most exciting is Poppy Raspberry Ripple! This is a new poppy that has a delicate, heirloom look but is very hardy. Poppy Raspberry Ripple is a great cutting flower to add to any bouquet, centerpiece, or to give to a loved one. A dark pink color in the middle spreads among crinkled petals, fading into blush pink with a shade of white. It is a true head turner in the garden. Did we mention it has double blooms?

A vegetable garden is never complete without a good variety of varieties! Park Seed has many varieties of tomatoes: slicing, paste, beef, cherry, the list goes on and on. One of our newest tomato varieties is Purple Boy. Featured in our 2019 Spring catalog and a winner of the 2019 DGA Green Thumb Award, this is one that cannot be skipped! It is very robust with a heavy yield. Not only is it delicious, but it is quite eye catching, with deep violet and purple hues. One bite and you can experience the intense rich flavor. It offers that perfect homegrown tomato tang!

Purple Boy combines the flavor of the heirloom Cherokee Purple but with improved disease resistance. This hybrid can be grown and enjoyed all summer long while resistant to nematodes, verticillium wilt, fusarium wilt, and tobacco mosaic virus. Slightly ridged and very symmetrically shaped, this tomato combines juiciness with strong tomato flavor, the type unknown to those rock-hard supermarket varieties. Tomato Purple Boy is indeterminate, so it keeps growing and setting new fruit all summer long! We definitely think you should give it a try this year.

Zinnia Zinderella Peach is part of the Zinderella family, which has a wide range of colors. With flowers in red, orange, lilac, and peach, you can have a bountiful rainbow in your garden! This variety is open pollinated so you can collect the seed or let it self-sow. Zinderella Peach won Europe's Fleuroselect Novelty Award for its unique color and very unusual form. These lovely flowers are eye catching from every direction with their colorful double blooms. Peach offers a big crested pompon bloom with a delicate "halo" around the central eye. Each flower has a frilly skirt around the bottom.

Pollinators LOVE the Zinderellas. They repel pests from vegetable crops but attract the 'good bugs' for pollinating! We absolutely love Zinderella!

Park Seed has so much to offer this year. From seeds to shrubs and everything in between, we are here to help you grow your dream garden!
