With more than 1,000 staff servicing more than 64,000 shareholders through a network of 82 stores and turnover in excess of $2 billion annually. Farmlands is proud to continue fighting to make prices more competitive, while offering expert technical advice. Through its diverse and industrial high-end business units – Card, Retail, Fuel, Lubricants, Grain and Seed, Nutrition, Real Estate and Horticulture – Farmlands is a major player in New Zealand rural industry.
The Agreement means Ecolibrium Biologicals will not work within the New Zealand market with any other commercial supplier to the Ag/Hort market for their entire product range including any and all of their pipeline projects. Ecolibrium will work closely with Farmlands leadership and technical team in product development so the Farmlands technical and sales team have the chance to work with the technologies from discovery, development and delivery to market.
Ragu Wallabh, Ecolibriums Managing Director commented that the agreement with Farmlands was far reaching and demonstrated how progressive Farmlands was to show genuine thought leadership to lowering farmers and growers dependence on synthetic agchem. “In a world of zero residuals and consumer demand for removal of persistent toxic pesticides from agricultural products Farmlands has demonstrated how committed they are to their customer base by striving to find genuine world first technologies to supply their customers and shareholders.”
