AgroPages-Prothioconazole leads the registration in Jan 2019, China-Agricultural news

According to China Pesticide Registration Watch , 34 products were granted registration from Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) in Jan, 2019. These registrations include 17 fungicides, 9 insecticides, 4 herbicides, 2 plant growth regulators (PGR), and 2 hygienic insecticides.

There were 11 pesticide technicals approved for registration (extension registration not included), which include 3 herbicides, 5 fungicides, 2 insecticides, 1 PGRs.

In this month, Prothioconazole lead the registration with 4 product approved registration, followed by Afidopyropen with 3 product registrations. 7 products include Fluensulfone and Benzovindiflupyr were approved for 2 registrations separately.

As for the registration companies, the number of registered products from multinational corporations is considerable. BASF Europe has obtained the largest number of registrations with 3 registrations. ADAMA and Syngenta respectively obtained 2 registrations. Among the domestic enterprises, Anhui Jiuyi Agricultural obtained 2 registrations, which are prothioconazole 97% TC and prothioconazole 30% OD. Jiuyi is also one of the first domestic companies who obtained prothioconazole registration.
