By adopting the international advanced IDA method, which obtaining IDA from Iminodiacetonitrile (IDAN) by hydrolysis, neutralization and acidification, PMIDA was synthesis through condensation with formaldehyde and phosphorous acid. Then the PMIDA was catalytically oxidized for 98% glyphosate.
The new technology’s substitution air oxidation for peroxide hydrogen oxidation can more than save raw materials, but also improve productivity and yield. The high purity glyphosate, well beyond the international standard, has been exported to Europe and U.S.
