The agreement came into force on Jan. 1, 2019 and provides specifically for the exclusive distribution of some solutions for the sustainable productivity of industrial and row crops.
The news of the commercial agreement was officially disclosed as part of a press conference held at the Solnok University of Agriculture, close to distributor’s premises, at the end of the Valagro Best Grower 2017 award ceremony. The award that rewards the excellence of agricultural production in collaboration with the main distributors of Valagro, this year for the EMEA area (Europe, Middle East, Africa), went to Lajos Szántó, a Hungarian producer from Martfű, specialising in the cultivation of vegetables, selected in collaboration with the Malagrow distributor.
Jean Francois Ducret, country manager Valagro France & Head sales Central Europe: “We are very proud to open 2019 with the signing of this strategic agreement for the distribution of our solutions in Central and Eastern Europe. This is the culmination of a path based on the long and successful collaboration with Malagrow, which we count among the best distributors of the Valagro Group. This agreement is in line with the ambition that has always distinguished Valagro, namely building together with our Customers a path marked by the achievement of common business objectives and therefore shared success and growth. This approach is based on a crucial principle that has always guided us in the market and distinguishes us from our competitors, i.e. the centrality of the customer. This same approach forms the basis of the collaboration with Malagrow for selecting and rewarding the best Valagro 2017 producer for the EMEA area, another important milestone that testifies to the positive results obtained from the partnership with our historic Hungarian distributor”.
Gyorgy Malatinsky, General Manager of Malagrow Kft: “With Valagro, Malagrow has identified an authoritative partner in the field of biostimulant development and has been able to introduce this innovative category of products, the result of constant investment in research and development, on the Hungarian market to help farmers combine crop productivity and sustainability. With this new agreement, Malagrow undertakes to bring Valagro innovation to the agricultural markets of Romania and Slovakia as well, fully embracing the Group’s approach, namely to satisfy the need of farmers to have more abundant, better quality and more profitable crops, which are obtained in a more sustainable way. The achievement of these objectives is testament to the excellent results that have led our customer, Lajos Szántó, to acquire, to our great satisfaction, the title of Valagro Best Grower EMEA 2017.”
