Acron Group, a leading mineral fertiliser producer in Russia and globally, has signed fertiliser supply agreements with Bryansk and Novgorod regional departments of agriculture for the next year at the Golden Autumn agro-industry trade show. Under these agreements, the Group will supply over 100 000 t of ammonium nitrate and NPK.

“Supplying mineral fertilisers to Russian farmers is Acron Group’s top priority," said Alexander Popov Chairman of Acron’s Board of Directors. "We sign agreements with regional subdivisions of Agro-Industrial Complex every year to map out our effective cooperation. The Group is ready to satisfy the needs of Russian farmers, and we are confident that it will help produce high yields."

Over 9 months in 2018, Acron Group shipped more than 630 000 t of mineral fertilisers to the Russian market, up 15% y/y. Ammonium nitrate and NPK fertilisers remain the most popular products with Russian farmers. During this period, the Group’s shipments of high-efficiency complex fertilisers to local customers increased 40%.

Acron’s Agronova distribution network was established in 2005 and has 12 specialised agrochemical enterprises with direct access to consumers in Russia’s major agricultural regions. Agronova’s units provide mineral fertiliser delivery, sales, and storage services, with total storage capacity of 189 000 t.
