Several Chinese companies develop glyphosate + glufosinate-ammonium mixture

“We applied for registration of 36% glyphosate + glufosinate-ammonium AS in 2011, targeting weeds in citrus orchard,” stated Yongnong Biosciences, “However, the ICAMA advised us to make adjustment, with weeds in uncultivated land as target.”
In 2018, the company finally obtained the registration certificate of mixture of glyphosate and glufosinate-ammonium. The company intends to develop it into a significant product and to make every effort to help big farming families to solve problems regarding the prevention and control of resistant weeds. “Central China is key target market for BaiSuDa,” disclosed Yongnong Biosciences.
“BaiSuDa has doubled weed killing mechanisms. It takes effect quickly and permanently,” claimed Yongnong Biosciences, “Compared to glyphosate, it is 2-3 days faster. Its effect on resistant weeds is more significant.”
According to the ICAMA, as of 25 April 2018, a total of 13 registration certificates were issued to mixture of glyphosate and glufosinate-ammonium. They were all approved in 2017-2018. Of this, 7 were issued temporarily in 2018.
