Estefanía Hinarejos Esteve joins AlgaEnergy as Regulatory Affairs Manager

Nowadays, the European legislation for biostimulant products is been discussed, with a complex scenario in the regulatory process for the biological products. In this context, the incorporation of Estefanía Hinarejos reinforces the positioning of AlgaEnergy in a sector in which it already has an outstanding position. Not in vain, the company is part of the EBIC (European Biostimulant Industry Council) -the organization of reference in the sector comprised by the main players in the European biostimulant industry-, and also participates in the working groups created for the standardization of the industry.
In this regard, Hinarejos will be the representative of AlgaEnergy in the EBIC, as well as in the working groups for the normalization of the biostimulants sector: the UNE (Spanish Association for Standardization) in Spain and the CEN (European Committee for Standardization) at European level.
Estefania Hinarejos has extensive experience in the field of the biocontrol and the biological agricultural products. She is currently the Director of IBMA Spain (International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association) -an association that represents the Spanish biocontrol industry- and the Founder of MATHEX (Microbial Active Technical Experts), a company providing consulting services in the agro-biological sector, mainly in the area of regulation at European level.
