Staphyt opens the first experimental station in Moroccoqrcode

On March 9th 2018, Staphyt opened its first phytosanitary experimental station in Meknes - Morocco. 
Located in a region rich in water resources - thanks to important hydroagricultural infrastructures - Meknes agricultural basin is made up of fertile soils enabling the growth of various high added value crops.  
The first phytosanitary trials will be in place as early as April. The crops available near the experimental station are the following: 
●   Oilseeds (sunflower, peanuts) 
●   Vegetable crops (tomato, watermelon, melon, potato, pepper, eggplant, onion, carrot and turnip, artichoke and broccoli)
●   Field crops or cereals (durum wheat, soft wheat, rice, barley, maize, chickpeas, beans)
●   Fruit trees (apple, citrus, rosaceae)
●   Sugar crops (sugar beet and sugar cane) 
●   Vine and table grape
The administrative procedures for obtaining the GEP approval are underway in order to propose accredited trials very soon.
