Beem Biologics Inc. announces new organic certifications for its biofertilizer additive product ISO-NPK 3-1-3, in addition to registration in 44 states for conventional use.

ISO-NPK 3-1-3 is OMRI Listed for use in certified organic production according to the USDA National Organic Program Rule. This listing became effective in November 2017 in the Blended Fertilizers Category, with no Restrictions. In addition, ISO-NPK 3-1-3 FOR ORGANIC PRODUCTION is approved for sale and distribution in California as of February 2018, by the CDFA (California Department of Food and Agriculture).

ISO-NPK 3-1-3 can now be used in organic farming practices throughout most of the United States without restriction.

ISO-NPK 3-1-3 is a naturally derived biological complex that promotes nutrient uptake helping crops effectively manage abiotic stresses from cold, heat, salinity, and drought. The result is higher average yields as crops achieve more of their genetic potential. Application rates for most crops range from two oz. per acre in-furrow to 16 oz. per acre through foliar or fertigation methods.

The key ingredient in ISO NPK 3-1-3 is a proprietary plant extract called Isoprenoid Amino Complex. It is an extract from the guayule shrub (parthenium argentatum) that is further processed into a protein hydrolysate by Beem Biologics. The 3-1-3 formulation includes all organic ingredients with soy protein hydrolysate, fish hydrolysate, guayule hydrolysate and potassium sulfate.

Ben Cloud, Chief Operating Officer of Beem Biologics, states, "ISO-NPK is an effective yet economical additive that should be part of every fertility program, conventional or organic. Yield increases give growers a high ROI, but it is the stress relief over the crop cycle that makes this the ideal management tool to cover the downside risks of commercial crop production. It is a practical hedge for yields, helping growers achieve their target per acre income. In organic applications, it promotes soil health that carries over to future crops as well."
