In 2018, the partnership between the world leaders in agricultural pesticides and inoculants is turning 20. They are, respectively: Syngenta, a multinational with headquarters in Switzerland, and Rizobacter, a multinational from Argentina. This year, they are delivering to Syngenta's customers in Brazil, the latest inoculation technology in the national market, developed by the Argentine company: Rizoliq LLI, the only soybean inoculant with up to 60 days of pre-treatment registration with MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Procurement).

Ricardo Yapur, CEO of Rizobacter and José Cricco, General Manager of Rizobacter Brazil, report that the alliance started in Argentina in 1998 when Rizobacter served the entire seed industry by selling and providing after-sales service for Maxim seed treatment. The partnership does not only combine two synergic product portfolios, but also the large investments in R&D and the agile go to market strategies by both firms.

"For Rizobacter this partnership is very important, since companies have complementary portfolios. The idea is to replicate in Brazil the success we have had in Argentina for a long time. With this alliance, Rizobacter completes its portfolio of professional seed treatment, incorporating the prestigious Apron RFC and Adage products and also accessing the stored grain market with Actellic 500 and Actellic Lambda products. At the same time, Rizoliq LLI will be available to Syngenta customers this year, "said Yapur and Cricco.

The CEO and General Manager of Rizobacter in Brazil believe that the partnership will facilitate the company's growth in the Brazilian market. This is the goal of Rizobacter not only here and in Argentina, but also in other countries where this powerful alliance is already present, such as Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, South Africa, Ukraine and soon in Russia.

Emilhano Lima, Head Seedcare LATAM and CU KAM Brazil, is certain of the benefits that the partnership will bring to companies and their clients. "Rizobacter is one of the main partners of Syngenta globally, recognized for being a company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the market and this is fully in line with the values of Syngenta," he says.
