Canadian approval for Dow's spinetoram

Dow AgroSciences has received Canadian approvals for its insecticides, Delegate WG (spinetoram 25%), and Radiant SC (spinetoram 120 g/litre). Both products are approved for use on a range of fruit and vegetables, cereals, soybeans and grapevines. The registrations were granted in December. Application rates for Delegate range from 100 g/ha to 420 g/ha, while Radiant is recommended for use at 0.2-0.9 litre/ha. Spinetoram received its first global approval in New Zealand last year. It was also approved in the US last year under the EPA's reduced-risk scheme.
