Following the announcement of Arysta LifeScience to build for 2018 a new marketing and sales organization in the Netherlands, dated 13th June 2017, the Company announced recently the appointment of Nico Stuijt as Country Manager for Arysta LifeScience Netherlands, effective 21st August.

In this new role, Nico will be responsible for supporting the launch of the new organization in the Netherlands (building the local organization, ensuring delivery of the business plan, expanding the team…). The goal is to introduce Arysta LifeScience Netherlands as a value-driven supplier offering solutions that meet market needs.

“I look forward to driving the expansion of Arysta LifeScience in The Netherlands. This is an exciting time for me and I am happy to be a part of this new and promising challenge”, said Nico.

Nico has extensive experience in the agricultural sector having worked in various roles in the seed, bio-technology and agrochemicals sectors for companies like Monsanto and affiliated seed companies. During the last 5 years, Nico was managing director for Groupe Roullier (Timac Agro) in the Netherlands with responsibility for all activities in Plant and Animal Nutrition.

“A key to success on new markets is having the right products and the right people, we already have some great brands and now under Nico’s leadership will build a strong and dynamic team”, explained Alan du Rieu Commercial Director North West Europe.

“I am fully confident of the abilities of Nico Stuijt to serve as our Country Manager in the Netherlands,” added Hildo Brilleman, Head of North-West, Central & East Europe, “I know that under his leadership, Nico will expand the team we have in the Netherlands and engage with all customers and other stakeholders to position Arysta LifeScience in a consistent way benefiting all involved in the Dutch Agchem and biosolutions market.”
