“High Yield Technology products from Agrinos are empowering my work force and making a positive impact for our customers,” said Darlei Moraes, owner of Agrominas in Pouso Alegre City. “Agrinos is one of my best commercial partners. Our sales representatives are very excited about handling microbiological inputs and my customers are impressed with the field results—improved yield, healthy soil and high-quality harvests.”
In the past year Agrinos entered into more than 20 new commercial alliances with regional vegetable retailers who specialize in key crops such as tomatoes, onions, carrots, sweet peppers and potatoes. The new partners include Cidade dos Sonhos, SM Agro, Agrovida, Agro Nisi, Agrofeo and Agrominas among others. The biggest regions of growth for Agrinos in Brazil have been São Paulo state, Parana state and Minas Gerais.
Fabricio Benatti, vice president of Agrinos’ Latin America commercial operations, said the increase in new alliances demonstrates that Brazilian retailers and their customers are capturing value from HYT technology. “Our new dealers appreciate that Agrinos provides the opportunity to work with innovative new technology,” said Benatti. “The Agrinos portfolio expands their offerings beyond traditional commodity inputs. As a result, growers across the country have access to new and effective biological crop solutions that provide measurable benefits.”
Agrinos currently offers a combination product pack in Brazil that includes HYT A, HYT B and HYT C. It expects to begin selling products separately in the future.
Agrinos is a biological crop input provider committed to improving the productivity and sustainability of modern agriculture. Based on Agrinos’ proprietary High Yield Technology (HYT) platform, the HYT® products provide benefits by strengthening the soil-based microbial ecosystem, stimulating crop development at key points in the growth cycle and boosting natural plant resistance to environmental stresses. With solutions for a variety of crop categories, the technology comprising the HYT products has demonstrated its value in third-party trials in key agricultural regions worldwide.
