AgroPages-Canada reviews sethoxydim-Agricultural news

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has determined that the herbicide, sethoxydim, is eligible for continued registration subject to label changes to protect human health and the environment. They include a 12-hour restricted entry interval and buffer zones of 1 m for ground applications and 40-200 m for aerial applications. Sethoxydim is sold by BASF in Canada as Poast and Poast Ultra for use on a range of crops. The PMRA's evaluation was based largely on the US EPA's 2005 re-registration eligibility decision.
