Leading vegetable seed company East-West Seed recently launched a new range of products called Go Grow. The new range helps farmers to kickstart the cultivation of vegetables. The Go Grow range provides all of the essential elements for success: high quality seeds, easy-to-grow varieties, and helpful growing information all in one pack.

L-R: Simon Jan de Hoop (VP for R&D), Ard Groot (Vice Chairman), Jutharat Prayongsap (R&D Operations Manager), Lamai Yapanan (Crop Breeding Manager), Bert van der Feltz (President and CEO), His Excellency Ambassador Paul Menkveld of the Royal Netherlands Embassy, Wichai Laocharoenpornkul (General Manager, Thailand), Michel Devarrewaere (Vice President), Conrad Balatero (Group Breeding Manager), and Bruno Lefeuvre (Group Sales & Marketing Manager) present Go Grow to the public for the first time.

Go Grow is a continuation of our commitment to farmers,” said Bruno Lefeuvre, Group Sales and Marketing Manager. “Go Grow gives non-expert farmers quality seeds and the knowledge they need to succeed when cultivating a new vegetable for the first time.” Go Grow is initially introduced in Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines.

The Go Grow range targets farmers who want to try a new crop but have limited knowledge on the required cultivation techniques.

In 2017, the company celebrates its 35th anniversary with the theme “Growing Opportunities.” The introduction of Go Grow underlines the company’s commitment to innovation in all fields, including ways to share cultivation techniques. It makes better seed varieties available and shares knowledge of growing with smallholder farmers in their own language, supported by clear visuals.

“Our mission is to increase the income of smallholder farmers,” said Bert van der Feltz, President and CEO of East West Seed. “Farmers are facing bigger challenges today, so we are more committed than ever to offer them the best products that are more resilient to climate change, require less pesticides, and contribute to better nutrition.”
