President Yosuke Tomoi of Nihon Nohyaku visits Sipcam China![qrcode]()

A four-person delegation from Nihon Nohyaku, including President Mr. Yosuke Tomoi, Director & General Manager Mr. Hiroyuki Iwata, Sales manager of Chinese region Mr. Keisuke Nakamura and China Business Director Mr. Du Zhiwei, visited Sipcam China’s Head Office in Shanghai on 17th February 2017, the beginning of the Chinese New Year.
The delegation was received by Sipcam’s China General Manager Mr. Geng Pingtian and Business Development Director Mr. Ma Jufa, where discussions were held on their projects in cooperation and market dynamics.
During their meeting, President Tomoi expressed his appreciation to Sipcam China for the good sales of their products in Chinese markets, including Cropnurse (12% emamectin benzoate + flubendiamide ME) and Sipstar Excel (60% azoxystrobin + flutolanil WG).
Yosuke Tomoi also congratulated Sipcam China on their double-digit sales growth in 2016. Yosuke Tomoi said he expected more intensive collaborations between the two parties in the Chinese market, taking advantage of their respective strengths, based upon the existing solid foundation of the cooperation.
General Manager Geng Pingtian expressed his thanks for the support from Nihon Nohyaku in Sipcam’s business operations in China, noting that the integration of this worldwide first-class products and technology by Nihon Nohyaku, with Sipcam’s pragmatic marketing philosophy, is expected to lead to a bright future for both sides in the Chinese market.
Speaking of China’s forthcoming new release of the Pesticide Control Regulation, Geng Pingtian said he believes the new regulations will be important to pesticide production and marketing management, and is an important step by the Chinese government to ensure food safety.
As a pesticide practitioner, Geng Pingtian said his group is open to, and welcomes, increased regulation and supervision of businesses.
Founded in 1928, Nihon Nohyaku is one of the prime pesticide manufacturers in Japan, providing internationally renowned pesticide research and development, and has established extensive cooperation with Sipcam worldwide.
Following the distribution of Cropnurse and Sipstar Excel, and the introduction of a newly patented chemical compound, cooperation between Nihon Nohyaku and Sipcam is expected to reach new heights.
