Hazera launches new crop disease apps

As a leading seed company in several vegetable crops, Hazera is sharing its extensive crop knowledge through innovative crop disease applications for smartphones, starting with apps on onion and brassicas (cabbage). These renewed apps contain extensive information on diseases and disorders, and are a valuable tool for each grower holding a smartphone, at home, in the greenhouse, or in the field.

Hazera launches these apps as a future oriented breeding company, to assist its customers in achieving successful growing. The onion and brassica disease apps are easy to download and user friendly. For an improved user experience, the apps are now web based and also offer Hazera’s latest news. They contain information, images as well as text, on fungi, bacterial diseases, foliar, storage and viral diseases, nematodes, insects and non-parasitic disorders. The information is supplemented with practical recommendations. The quality of the pictures is high, to put growers quickly on the right track when they discover a problem in their crop.

One click in the Contact chapter of this app ensures direct contact to get in touch with the crop specialist in the grower’s region. The latest innovation is the possibility to take a picture of the diseased crop and send it immediately to Hazera’s crop specialist, who will take care to provide a personal advice.

Always up-to-date, also available without internet

The apps are continuously kept up-to-date. As soon as an internet connection is detected, users automatically receive a message in case of an update. But the app also works fine without internet connection, which is useful in remote places. So this app is always ready for use.
