Eurofins Agroscience Services sets up US bee testing site

United StatesIn order to align services with the direct needs of clients, Eurofins Agroscience Services, Inc., has announced the creation of Eurofins Bee Health and Management Solutions (EBHMS).
EBHMS is a commercial beekeeping and ecotoxicology services unit focusing on healthy, productive, honey bee queens and colonies. Along with pollination, honey, and queen production, the new business unit will provide additional capacity to existing services, a training platform, experience, documented test systems, verified sister queens, and the ability to accommodate all of your growing honey bee study needs.
Quality data for valid studies will be provided by regulated observers with commercial beekeeping training and experience for assessments and beekeeping operations across the USA. Preparation of honey bee colonies as a test system will be properly scheduled and implemented to optimize success including; nutritional assessments and tailored supplementation of all colonies; pest/disease management; queen fecundity and brood termination rate assessments throughout life of colony.
