AgriThority® LLC, an integrated agricultural science consultancy, announces the addition of Dr. Marco Toapanta to the company's management team as Director - Science & Technology. 
 
Dr. Toapanta has more than 15 years of experience in agricultural research management with technical competencies in sustainable agriculture, entomology & plant pathology and pest management programs. 
 
He is recognized for his expertise in plant health, crop protection, seed treatment and seed-applied technologies. His experience spans a wide range of end-use markets including agronomic crops, vegetables, specialty crops, tropical fruits, tree nuts and vines. 
 
As AgriThority Director - Science & Technology, Dr. Toapanta will oversee and define standardized processes and guide science and technology development projects. He will serve an integral role on AgriThority project teams as he works with Account Managers and science-based staff and Associates. 
 
"Marco is a proven leader, guiding teams to design, develop and commercialize innovative solutions for different crop production businesses," says Jerry Duff, AgriThority Founder and President. "He is an asset to our management team as we continue to provide clients with cutting-edge expertise in science and technology." 
 
Dr. Toapanta most recently worked with DuPont as the North America Research and Development Lead for Seed-Applied Technologies. 
 
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from the University of Zamorano, in Honduras and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Entomology and Plant Pathology from the University of Florida.
